AFRICAN ARTIST
i was inspiered by an african material. it seems  that "AFRICAN ARTIST" is the right name, somehow to give thanks to the artists in africa.

  2. Lovely pattern! It is so similar to several other of my favorites, and yet different enough to be more than a variation. I am sure to have fun with this one!

  3. Not a fan of the name at all. I find it slightly rude and racial when this is nothing like art from African nor is it from the culture in anyway. Not something I except to find within the field of zentangle I'm very new to this art and didn't expect to see these kind of names within the art. As it grows closer and closer to Kwanzaa it's even more uncalled for.

    1. did you read the blurb about it? Tina has spent lots of time in Africa, and she got her inspiration for this pattern from fabric she saw in Africa, and named it this way to honor the artists in Africa who created the fabric.
